Jess is famous...

This picture was taken at the Kylie Minogue concert in Brisbane, David from big brother was there, him being a huge Kylie fan as she is to most of the gay community. When I spotted him sitting in the same row as us I couldn't resist asking if he would have a picture taken with Jess, I think she was more excited meeting him then actually seeing Kylie. Fabulous concert btw and I would highly recommend seeing her even if you are not a Kylie fan.

Kell and Grant's Wedding

Well today my friend Kellie married her man Grant in a beautiful backyard ceremony by the pool. It poored with rain but as you can see by the photo's it didn't phase her on little bit.

Here is a pic of me and the bride, this is the only pic I have actually had taken with Kellie and we have been friends for 6 years now. Shame on us.

I took this pic for my Week 1 pic of the 52 week challenge inspired by Gallery 12. The picture is titled "Brand New Life".

Gallery 12 ~ 52 week photo challenge...

I have just found this fantastic new blog called Gallery 12 and it is so inspiring. It is a blog with 12 very talented amatuer photographers who have challenged each other to take one photo a week for 52 weeks and the photo's that they are coming up with are brilliant.

We all know though that there are some amazing Scrapbook photographers out there and they are all everyday women who love the art and love there camera's.

If you get a minute check it out, I'm sure you will want to tune in every week too.

I was so impressed with this challenge that we have decided to do it at Scrapchat as well. We are just going to run it a week behind and stick with the same themes.

We are just doing it for a bit of fun and hopefully it will inspire us all to take that extra special shoot.

I will post my week one pic. here on Sunday.

Powerscrap Sunday

Today Miss Cropalot hosted a Powerscrap challenge at Scrapchat, it was so much fun. Really doesn't give you time to think about what it is that you are going to do as you need to have your photo printed, layout put together then photograph your layout all within a 3 1/2 hours time frame. It usually takes me at least 3 hours just to think about what it is that I am going to do. Anyway all in all it didn't turn out to bad except I felt it was a little unfinished so here is what I came up with:-

The challenge was to hand cut a title out of patterned paper.

First months kit images uploaded....

Well it was so exciting to upload my first months kit layouts for my DT position at Making Memories For You. I waited with anticipation to see the reaction and I am quite pleased to say that it was a good one.

This has been a very busy time for me with getting Scrapchat up and running with the new version of PHPBB3, the new year and getting ready for the first month as a DT member.

Scrapchat is looking fantastic and I love the new version with lots of new and exciting features. I hope everyone else is enjoying it too.

Well thats about it for me for now.

Oh one layout that I can post here as I have used elements other then what is was provided in my kit is this one.
