Pics from the Pink Ribbon Lunch....

Pink Ribbon Lunch...

What an awesome day it was, about 40 girls came to our Pink Ribbon Lunch and we all had a lot of laughs and just totally enjoyed ourselves. We started around 11.00 in the morning and everyone was gone by 12.00 midnight that is.

We raised a total of $2,315.95 and they figure will be even higher once the Scrapbooking Raffle has been completed.

There were lots of raffles and most of the girls took home a prize of some sort.
We had an auction for our Aboriginal artwork which was painted by new Aboriginal artists called Yulenguya (Girl to Woman). Our auction raised a massive $185.00 and the new owner was very happy to be taking it home to display in her home.

WTF ~ take a look at this!!!!

Valued at £12,000 ($24,475) diamond-clad Nokia isn't the priciest handset we've ever seen, it's still more than most of our wallets can handle. This N95 is reportedly coated in 18-carat white gold and smothered with 325 diamonds totaling 3.3-carats. Furthermore, only ten of these beauties will ever be created, with each of them boasting its production number and having the ability to be customized to the customer's liking. If you're into this type of thing, and have absolutely nothing better to spend your cash on than a phone you'll never use, why on earth would you want one.

Scapmanda's Girls Night In....

I had such a fabulous time at the beautiful Scapmanda's GNI last Saturday night and was so pleased that it was a huge success. Everyone had such a fantastic time and I even won a prize, not quite sure what it is as yet because it was a last minute donation from LSBS.

Here is a quick digi layout I did using the The Think Pink Kit from 2peas. Hope you like it.

Almost there.....

If you read my blog regular you would have noticed that while I was away in England I lost my template and I loved that template so I desperately wanted it back. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get it back and working properly so I decided to build my own using componets of the old and although it doesn't look exactly the same I would say it was pretty darn close.

So slowly getting my blog back to the way it was but it certainly takes alot of time and effort as I have no idea how to build a html. So off I went in search and found some excellent tutorials. Alot of it has been trial and error but I think it is going ok.

Word of warning though, if you decide to build your own template whatever you do don't forget to save it so it can be reinstalled if there are any hiccups.

Anyway, what do you think????

Happy surfing.

Passionately Pink.....

For all those who know me will know that I am very passionate when it comes to raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness. So passionate that I have just received my very own Pink Ribbon Visa/Debit Bopo Card.

This card is just like having cash in your purse at all times and you can even use it online which is why I wanted one. This will limit any chances of losing money because of internet fraud.
When you apply for your card $5.00 of your application fee is donated to the NBCF and then each time you purchase something using your card they are going to donate a further .03c per transaction.
These cards are great and are a really big thing overseas as they can be used everywhere and you don't even have to be 18 to own one so it's a great idea for the kids pocket money.

You can have one like mine with the pink ribbon on them or you can even have them with a photo on. You can use a stock photo from there file or just upload one of your own. Great way to identify what each card is for.
If you want to check it out here is the link Pink Ribbon Card

Arrrrr It's a Pirate Princess life for me.....

I am so excited, this weekend I am going to a Pirate Themed 21st so I get to dress up as what I am going to claim is a Pirate Princess. I searched through my wardrobe and can you believe that I had most of my outfit right in my closet. Saving all those 90's clothes has certainly been worthwhile. I just need to go out and get my sword now, can't be a Pirate without a sword now can I?
I will post pics next week and hopefully a lo as I have already gone out and purchased my Rusty Pickle Pirate Princess Paper and I just love it. I am going to make the 21st card out of this too, so I hope she likes it.

Need more time...

I haven't been doing to much lately, but I sure as hell want to. I wish I had more time to do what I love and more time to spend with my friends. Physcobabble is my state of mind, life is so boring. Me thinks I need to spice it up a little. hehehe
