Happy New Year Everyone

I'm soooo bored........

I'm just waiting for my family to arrive for us to have our christmas get together and they all seem to be running just a little late. So I have been having a play with this gorgeous kit which I downloaded from Shabby Princess.

I hope you like it.

I hope they arrive soon cause I will have to do a little more playing if they don't.

Lovely time catching up with the girls.

We all had a great time catching up with all the girls from Scrapchat on Saturday. Our lovely host Lexie (aka Karen) did a fabulous job of catering our lovely christmas lunch.

It was so nice to finally meet Sandyb from Melbourne who was visiting with her family here in Queensland.

I also got to meet 3 masters Cassandra, Leanne & Lu. It so good to look at there work in real life, now that I have seen it I have realised that the magazines just don't do it justice.

I've been playing again...

I'm in awww

Yesterday I went to visit my friend Kellie for christmas, she is 5 months pregnant and is very excited as they have been trying for awhile to have a bub and it finally happened.

She had a little ultrasound machine and she let me listen to her babies heartbeat. Wow talk about awesome it is such an amazing thing and I was so flattered that she allowed me to do it.

I've been picked for a DT

I was so flattered when Frankie from Making Memories For You asked me if I would submit for her DT and didn't think for a minute that I would actually be chosen. So here I am now I have been chosen to be on a DT for my Digi work.

I am a little nervous but also a little excited as this is going to be a whole new experience for me.

Sandyb arrive from Melbourne yesterday, it is going to be so great to actually meet her at our Christmas get together on Saturday at Lexie's place. I am so looking forward to it.

Another quick one from me...

Here is a quick digi layout I did using the kit from Peppermint Creative. I so love Peppermint Creative but I spend way to much money there.

Haven't been blogged lately...

I have been to bothered to blog lately, you know how it is at this time of the year, everything seems a little ho hum if you know what I mean. It is getting busier every day with the lead up to christmas so I really can't wait for it all to just be over.

Anyway, here are a couple of layouts I have done recently.

This one was a scrap challenge at scrapchat and was completed for the lovely Ali12.

It is a beautiful pic of one of the sunsets from her family fijian holiday.

I was very happy with the way it turned out considering that it looks nothing like the way I was originally going to do it.

I am so glad that I chose the green for the background instead of the original colour of orange.

I think the orange would of actually taken away from the photo instead of enhancing it.
